Located on the outskirts of Palma de Mallorca, in a rural setting that remains well connected to the city’s main facilities, Can Coll Care Home is designed following BTA’s person-centred care approach. The project is organised mainly on the ground floor and first floor in order to deliberately move away from the institutional image traditionally associated with care homes. With 162 places and 11 household units, the building seeks a more domestic and residential character, placing residents at the centre of the design and creating an honest, calm and human architecture.
