This care home in Lleida is conceived as a home for older people in a privileged urban setting, close to nature and well connected to the city. The project is organised into household units, creating smaller and more domestic living environments designed to improve residents’ everyday quality of life. With 150 places and 9 household units, the building combines functional efficiency with a person-centred care approach, seeking to reduce the institutional feel of traditional care homes and create a calmer, more comfortable environment for older people.
BTA was responsible for the design and construction management of this care home for Thor Private Equity Spain, a company specialised in the development of healthcare, social care and hospital facilities.
