Hivernacle, Parc de la Ciutadella

The restoration of the Hivernacle in Ciutadella Park began with a detailed study of the building’s historical and architectural evolution, including archive photographs, on-site surveys and a colour analysis based on the original palette used at the time of its inauguration in 1888. The project addressed the comprehensive restoration of the building as a whole: its interior structure, iron carpentry, gutters and drainage systems, and the decorative elements on both the interior and exterior. The intervention also included the recreation of the floral ornamentation uncovered during the research and restoration process.
